Remarkable Digital Transformation
Shabby Chic from Antique to Chic // 2018
The Magazine
In our collaborative partnership, I fulfilled multiple digital roles. These roles propelled the brand’s online presence, enabling us to optimize search engine visibility and attract potential clients. The first project, initiated in 2018, involved creating an interactive catalog, showcasing their extensive inventory while narrating the stories behind each furniture piece. By implementing clickable images linked to their social media platforms, we seamlessly connected users to the individual products, fostering a sense of exploration and discovery.
The Stories
The second significant project, undertaken in 2020, marked our foray into video tutorials and vlogs on YouTube. In this way we were able to offer a glimpse into the brand’s intricate restoration process. As the key orchestrator, I undertook responsibilities ranging from videography and video editing to creating engaging animations and motion designs. With meticulous attention to detail, I optimized video titles and descriptions, while overseeing the complete management of their YouTube profile. In this multifaceted role, I served as the director of photography, copywriter, subtitle translator, content creator, creative director, video editor, and YouTube manager, ensuring a cohesive and captivating presence on the platform.
Visual Identity
Simultaneously, I embarked on crafting a distinctive visual identity for one of their Instagram profiles. By designing eye-catching background templates for textual stories and creating captivating graphics for Instagram highlights, I succeeded in establishing a cohesive and visually appealing brand presence on the platform.
To augment the immersive experience for their audience, I developed an Instagram and Facebook filter that allowed users to visualize the available furniture pieces within their own living spaces. This innovative feature provided a unique opportunity for Shabby Chic Antique Chic customers to envision how the furniture would complement their homes, fostering a deeper connection and inspiring confidence in their purchasing decisions.
