The Impact of Collateral Damage

BA Thesis Layout Design // 2018

In 2018, I collaborated with a talented colleague from the esteemed Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Together, we refined and meticulously laid out her remarkable three-year thesis, delving into the profound theme of collateral damage. Titled “Danno Collaterale,” this thought-provoking thesis explored the far-reaching consequences of war on society, utilizing historical canvases, sculptures, and installations to ignite deep reflection.

Crafting an Attracting Visual Experience

To bring this visual narrative to life, I meticulously designed Bachelor Thesis Sculpture Layout that seamlessly connected each chapter. I strategically arranged the content to captivate readers and immerse them in the artist’s thought-provoking message. The design engaged the audience and offered an unforgettable encounter with the profound artwork.

Through strategic editing, image selection, and thoughtful composition, I aimed to enhance the artwork’s impact and reinforce the artist’s message. The result was a meticulously designed thesis transcending academic boundaries, resembling captivating books found in museum shops or art history sections.

A Rewarding Bachelor Thesis Sculpture Layout

The profound impact of the thesis impressed the esteemed thesis committee, who praised my colleague‘s exceptional work. The carefully curated design played a significant role in capturing their attention and effectively communicating the powerful message of collateral damage. Witnessing my colleague’s success and recognition was immensely gratifying, reaffirming my passion for visually compelling narratives through design.

This collaboration showcased my design and layout skills while deepening my understanding of visual storytelling’s power. It reinforced my commitment to support and elevate fellow artists, researchers, and visionaries through the art of design.
